LEAGUE CUP WINNER
From the dream to reality goes the distance that a joint effort can overcome.
SC Braga reaffirmed, at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, the purpose and objective of winning a trophy, a cup. The constant presence in European competitions, with the achievement of the last qualifications for the Champions League, showed the growth of the club at European level. The conquest of a title or trophy would reinforce the status in Portugal.
In the 2011/12 season, SC Braga reached the semi-finals of the League Cup for the first time. A year later the journey was longer.
2011

Qualified for the Europa League, Braga eliminated Lech Poznan (2-1 in aggregate), Liverpool (1-0 in aggregate, reaching the Europa League quarter-finals for the first time), Dynamo Kiev ( 1-1 in aggregate, advancing to the Europa League semifinals for the first time, using the away goal rule) and Benfica (2-2 in aggregate, advancing to the Europa League final for the first time, using the rule goals away from home).
On May 18, 2011, Braga lost 1-0 to FC Porto in the 2010-2011 Europa League final at Aviva Stadium (Dublin), ending their European dream.
2010
FIRST TIME CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
In the 2010-2011 season, Braga made their Champions League debut at home, in a 3-0 victory against Celtic, in the first leg of the third qualifying round. Despite losing the second away game 2-1 at Celtic Park, he went on to the next round with an aggregate result of 4-2. In the fourth qualifying round, they beat Sevilla FC 1-0 at home and 4-3 away, thus entering the Champions League group stage for the first time.
2008
INTERTOTO CUP
Of all the clubs that participated in the Intertoto Cup, SC Braga was the team that reached the furthest in Uefa, thus collecting the trophy.
The trophy was handed out on the pitch of the Municipal Stadium of Braga, to the captain of SC Braga, Vandinho, before the start of the game with Paris Saint-Germain for the UEFA Cup Round of 16 on 19 March 2009.
SC Braga was the last winner of the competition, given that the reformulation of European competitions by UEFA led to the extinction of the competition.
